Summary:

Performs all required Supply Chain Management Center commodity team agreement pricing reviews, updates team performance metrics, report generation, and monitoring as required.  Teams with commodity managers to support their data requirements, data validation, and metrics in line with commercial best practices, DOE/NNSA requirements and functional transformation.

Summary of Duties:

  • Anticipate business needs and develop analytical reports to assist Commodity Management staff in negotiations and management of long term agreements to leverage buying position, consolidate supply base, and effect cost management in accordance with prime contract executive orders, public law, NNSA approved procedures, FAR/DEAR and appropriate supply chain management principles
  • Build and run reports to support the commodity team data requirements by helping to identify opportunities, resolving data deficiencies, making recommendations, and running Excel Pivot tables to analyze data
  • Assists Commodity Management staff in the use of strategic sourcing tools such as Excel, MicroStrategy, and Supplier Performance Management (SPM)
  • Performs appropriate pricing reviews in conformance with applicable Supply Chain Management Center procedures and policies, DOE and NNSA validation requirements
  • Familiar with the different contracting formats such as letter contracts, firm fixed-price contracts, cost type contracts, time and material contracts, lease agreements, multi-year option contracts, incentive contracts, master ordering agreements, and system contracts covering different commodities
  • Provide backup support for the Principal Sourcing Analyst by learning to run the monthly scorecard and participating in various discussions around data management as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
