As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Walmart’s goals in driving innovation in the digital payments and lending space by managing key partnerships (including partnering with Walmart’s Fintech One Financial), building the vision of new products/features and working with key stakeholders on operating/executing programs focused on making it simpler for customer to save money, live better.  You will also be responsible for developing and executing a unified Wallet strategy for Walmart US to help customers make safe and secure payments and expand capabilities within the Walmart ecosystem.  You will be a key member on the financial services team that is one of the largest non-bank financial services businesses in the world.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Working with key stakeholders, partners and customers to ensure the lending and payments business programs are operating with efficiency and excellence.
  • Developing operational programs and processes to scale the business within Walmart’s 255MM customer to drive GMV while driving efficiencies.
  • Set and execute business growth strategies within lending and payments space that focuses on differentiated offerings to uniquely serve the needs of Walmart customers through both physical and digital experiences.
  • Partnering with product, marketing, digital, tech, operations, partner(s) and merchandise teams to optimize retail sales growth via lending and digital wallet usage within Walmart’s expanding customer ecosystem.
  • Manage strategic relationships by actively managing the portfolio performance of the programs with data and discipline.  Lead partnership meetings to meet outcomes and goals of the program.
  • Deliver customer, operational, and financial metrics for existing and newly established business lines and set & achieve annual operating performance objectives.
  • Operating with excellence – Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related field and 5 years’ experience in consumer services industry, project management, product management, process improvement, retail operations, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in consumer services industry, project management, product management, process improvement, retail operations, or related area
  • 5+ years of experience project management, corporate strategy and or productivity roles. By working across multiple functional teams.
  • Executive communication.
  • Ability to work up, down at large organization both internally and externally to reach a desired outcome for the customer.
  • Product management and/or credit/risk experience in financial services, banking, payments or innovation consulting experience in consumer financial/payment services
  • Strong knowledge of Walmart operations and organization.
  • MBA in Marketing, Finance, Operations, or related field.
