This position is for an entry level Network Construction Engineer role in the Verizon Global Network & Technology organization. In this role you will be introduced to the planning & implementation of the Radio Access Network including small cells and indoor solutions.PSC (power, space & cooling infrastructure) in Verizon's wireless MSC facilities. You will shadow and support various PSC personnel in their day-to-day activities and may be asked to work on special projects.

Attend weekly Construction status calls and support PSC Engineers.
Attend vendor site surveys.
Assist in review of equipment pre-vet requests & vendor proposals.
Collect data and develop special reports related to project management tracking and/or capacity/budget analysis..
You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered.

In this hybrid full time position, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. This hybrid role will be based out of (LOCATION) . Houston

You’ll need to have:

Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree majoring in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or related majors with a completion date of June 2024.
Coursework or demonstrated experience with AutoCAD.
Coursework or knowledge of electrical/ mechanical systems.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
Willingness to travel and work in (LOCATION).
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
Experience working with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
Basic knowledge of Data Analysis.
Network Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or similar).

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $72,000.00 and $133,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
