Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Director to lead our sales efforts for Google Cloud Professional Services. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve our sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for Google Cloud Professional Services business unit.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target industries and customer segments
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve salestargets and objectives
  • Be prepared to lead by example by opening new logo wins and not just expect to “manage” sales teams
  • Grow existing accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, solution architects, delivery leads, and customer success managers to ensure customer satisfaction and project success
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective customers
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management
  • Continuously improve sales processes and practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in IT Services sales, preferably in public cloud services – AWS / GCP / Azure.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong background in IT Services sales is MUST.
  • Managed P&L in the $14M -$20M size.
  • Successfully closed Cloud services deal size $250K-$1.5M in mid market / Corporate segment
  • Strong relationship with Google US Sales team and Google cloud partner ecosystem.
  • Experience in working with onsite and offshore teams needed.
  • Experience in building and growing mid size consulting companies.
  • Experience in selling Cloud Infrastructure Migration, Infra Modernization, Data migration, DevOps and managed support services.
  • One to one relationships with Google Cloud Service execs
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Deep understanding of corporate sales processes and practices
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Passion for cloud computing and digital transformation
