Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of cash flow management.
- Oversee bookkeeping functions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with auditors and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with bank reconciliation and bookkeeping processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
