As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll contribute to a mission-critical platform that empowers customers to tackle global healthcare challenges in areas such as vaccines and oncology. You'll be part of a team working on cloud-native applications, architecting, designing, creating, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components. The role involves contributing to system and software requirements, promoting good software engineering practices, and engaging in all aspects of the software engineering process. This position requires strong team collaboration, self-direction, and deep experience in software design, coding, and testing methodologies. The work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical and business skills. Responsibilities For Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Life Sciences
- Architect, design, create, and maintain the full stack of a customer-facing cloud-native application
- Contribute to the creation and review of system and software requirements
- Promote and support good software engineering practices
- Adhere to company procedures and help maintain relevant documentation
- Actively engage in all aspects of the software engineering process
- Prepare test cases for software verification and validation
- Analyze and integrate external customer specifications
- Specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture
- Build new products and development tools
- Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans
- Review integration and regression test plans created by QA
- Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality
Requirements For Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Life Sciences
Java

- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
- 6+ years of software engineering or related experience
- Strong knowledge of full-stack development
- Experience with cloud-native applications
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Experience with REST APIs
- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies
- Understanding of CI/CD practices
- Ability to work in a team environment and mentor others
