Job Overview

As a Medical Intake/Data Entry Specialist, you will serve as a crucial liaison within our Utilization Review Department. In this capacity, you will gather intake data, create electronic patient files, and manage certification letters through various communication methods, including printing, mailing, faxing, and copying. This role presents a splendid opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to exceptional healthcare service.

Respond to phone inquiries directed to the Utilization Review Department and facilitate the routing of calls.
Retrieve and convey voicemail messages to the appropriate nursing staff.

Required Skills

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

A minimum of one year of office experience is necessary, with a preference for candidates who have previously worked in a healthcare setting.

Compensation And Benefits

Starting wage: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Eligibility for quarterly bonuses.
A full-time schedule, Monday through Friday—no weekends or nights!
A comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with company match.
Paid time off.
Shift differential for the Monday to Friday 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM schedule.
Hybrid work schedule available after training—work remotely two days a week once training is completed (Please note: Full-time in-office attendance is required during the training period).
