R) Data Specialist is responsible for gathering, organizing, analyzing, and eporting institutional and labor market data for the purpose of decision-making, strategic planning, and institutional effectiveness. The data collected, analyzed, and reported im acts compliance with higher education governing bodies, state and federal funding, and ins itutional decision making. The IR Specialist is also responsible for represe ting and communicating data in a way that allows institutional faculty, staff, and leadership o develop insights regarding key performance indicators to develop actionable steps to i prove outcomes for the communities and people served by Mineral Area College. , and reporting of data through the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data Systems (IPEDS), Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education (CBHE), Missouri Higher Education and Workforce Development (MDHEWD), and other state and federal agencies, with accompanying analysis of data for internal use. Write queries to retrieve data
student information systems and other institutional data sources and databases. Coordinate and maintain a calendar
