What are we looking for? Our Video Editor has a knack for the following skills:

Communication:

Facilitate the creation of video materials by collaborating efficiently with all departments
Work closely with our creative team to deliver content that will exceed our client's expectations and meet industry standards

Analytics:

Balance and grade color, and mix and level audio within Adobe Premiere
Oversee and maintain the content ingest, archive, and storage processes
Manage deadlines and project manage effectively

Business:

End-to-end video editing of unscripted and scripted content, ensuring alignment with entertainment industry trends
Quickly assemble edits and implement notes from creatives and clients
Ability to self-manage and organize workloads around tight deadlines
Create content as needed for various social media platforms
Organize and effectively manage video footage library

Transform existing client creative into assets for DMM case studies and new business opportunities within the entertainment and/or gaming sectors

You'd be a great fit for this role if you have:

3+ years experience as a video editor
Advanced knowledge of Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder and After Effects as well as 3rd party software
Ability to self-manage and organize workloads around tight deadlines
Knowledge about different social media and digital video platforms and how videos work on each
Proactive, positive team player attitude, with the ability to help guide projects from ingest to delivery
Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of editing workflows.
A sharp eye for timing with an ability to "wow" both clients and colleagues alike
Availability to work between 9am and 6pm PST with flexibility for routine weekend coverage
