Job Summary:

RailPros is seeking an experienced and dynamic Proposal Manager to join our team. This remote role requires managing the proposal response process and delivering high-quality, persuasive proposals that meet RFP requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and will play a crucial role in our proposal efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Proposal Development: Direct pursuit strategy sessions and oversee the creation of compelling RFP responses.
Strategize and Analyze: Analyze RFPs to develop effective capture plans, value propositions, and win themes. Identify and address technical gaps.
Coordinate and Collaborate: Work with the Marketing team to design infographics, icons, and images . Collaborate with various teams to prepare technical sections.
Manage Documentation: Maintain an organized library of qualification statements, project descriptions, and resumes.
Mentor and Guide: Provide mentorship to junior staff and manage additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Attention to Detail: Exceptional proofreading and editing skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
Organizational Skills: Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
Positive Attitude: Demonstrated proactive approach and "can-do" mindset.
Technology Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, and other publishing tools. Early adopter of cutting-edge technology.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members. Advanced bilingual skills in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).

Required Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Extensive experience in RFP responses with a proven track record in proposal management.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Civil Engineering or A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry terminology.
Experience: 10+ years in proposal management, coordination, or technical writing. 5+ years in Marketing or Business Development within an AEC firm.
Technical Skills: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with AI platforms (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) is a plus.
